Reserve Division

The Door County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Deputies provide a multitude of different functions for the sheriff’s office.  Reserve deputies provide security for:

· The Door County FairReserve At Fair

· Numerous school functions including sporting events, dances and homecoming activities. 

· Transport of prisoners and they provide security for persons requiring a deputy to monitor them while at the Door County Medical Center 

· Reserve deputies provide traffic control and monitor crowds at numerous summer events and festivities in the county during the summer months including the Door County Triathlon, the Century Ride bicycle event, parades, Fourth of July celebrations, craft/fine arts fairs, Sister Bay Fall Fest, Egg Harbor Pumpkin Patch Fest, and assist with security at other events in different townships in the county. 

· Reserve deputies are called upon to assist with traffic control and scene security at major unexpected events that occur in the county such as, crashes or other emergency situations requiring additional resources. 

The reserve deputy division is an integral part of the operations and success of the Sheriff’s Office.
