Door County Parks
We love our parks!
Door County stands alone in Wisconsin as the sole county boasting five state parks, along with an additional state trail. Door County is also home to 21 County Parks. Experience the natural allure of the peninsula's pristine, open spaces adorned with historic landmarks, shimmering blue waters, and winding hiking paths. The one-of-a-kind parks are the perfect destination for your fun activities and important events. Door County Parks is committed to ensuring your experience is enjoyable and works hard to improve and protect the county's natural beauty.
“Door County’s most valuable asset, both from a material and spiritual standpoint, is its natural beauty. A tree is the oldest form of life in our county. To watch over it generation after generation, builds a human chain that can never be broken.” From Door County Parks Board 1947 Report.
