The mission of the Door County Communications Center is to provide a vital link to the public and all emergency services. We are committed to serving with integrity, cooperation, and concern for the welfare of others. Our goal is to provide expedient, courteous and quality service to the community. Our stand is excellence and our model of success is teamwork.

About Us

The Door County Communications Center is the direct link between citizens and the county's emergency response services as we provide 24-hour dispatching for all law, fire, and EMS agencies within Door County which include the Door County Sheriff Office, Sturgeon Bay PD, Gibraltar PD, Washington Island PD, 11 Fire departments, 11 EMR groups, and  3 EMS stations.

The Door County Communications Center is located at the Justice Center.  We currently have 2 Dispatch Leads, 7 Dispatchers and 1 Director that make up our division.  They handle all emergency 911 calls, as well as non-emergency calls for service.  Among a variety of other responsibilities.
